Driving from the airport to UCSD

Start at 3665 N Harbor Dr, San Diego on Airport Exit - go 0.3 mi
Continue on N Harbor Dr - go 0.8 mi
Turn left on W Laurel ST - go 0.4 mi
Turn left on India ST - go 0.9 mi
Take I-5 North - go 8.4 mi
Take the Gilman Dr/La Jolla Colony Dr exit - go 0.2 mi
Turn left on Gilman Dr - go 1.5 mi
There will be a visitors information center on your right where you can pull in and get parking permits and directions to various points on campus.

Parking at UCSD

If you plan to park at UCSD, you must purchase and display a valid parking permit during these hours: Monday through Friday, 6 am-7 pm. You can purchase parking permits at either UCSD Visitor Information Center; you can also pick up a campus map.

The Holiday Inn Express in La Jolla has offered a special group rate for people participating in and attending Teknika Radica's "Powering Up/Powering Down."

The group rate is $69/night (vs. regular rate of $99/night) for a single queen bed and $79/night (vs. regular rate of $119/night) for a room with two double beds. Prices don't include taxes.
